Hello...
I'm Liz, a BACP accredited therapist and I specialise in working with neurodivergence, particularly ADHD and autism. I identify myself as neurodivergent, so I also bring a lived experience perspective to the work.
Therapy with me...
I'm an integrative therapist, which means I am trained in several different approaches to therapy. I am primarily client centred, which means that we identify and work towards your priorities and needs in a way that works for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, so we work together to help you understand yourself and your way of being in the world, your needs, the areas where you want to grow and develop, and support you to achieve your goals.
I am neuro-affirming in my approach, which means that neurodivergence is seen as a difference that comes with both strengths and difficulties, and not a problem to be fixed or corrected. I am trauma informed and aim for my therapy sessions to be accessible, warm and supportive.
