Hello...

I'm Kate Bull, a psychotherapist with over a decades worth of experience counselling people. I began my journey as a psychotherapist when I was working on a National crisis helpline.
This along with seeing the difference therapy made to me on a personal level, I recognised the power that having a supportive listening other can mean to people.
I aim to create a safe and reliable environment for my clients, ensuring they feel secure and confident in their experience with my services.

The therapeutic relationship is where the work happens, therefore it is of the upmost importance. Therefore if you work with me I bring into the relationship my humaneness, we will work in an authentic and mutual way.
I offer people an opportunity to be creative in the work that we do, be this working with clay, paint or even metaphors.
I work Online and in person session from an office on Gosforth high street, newcastle upon tyne.

Experience

I have worked in various settings within the time I have been working as a therapist, they include GPs surgery's, Counselling services but most notably I spent 9 years working as a counsellor within a women's health center.
I have also been practicing as an outdoor ecotherapist since my qualification as a cousnellor in 2014.

Areas of Expertise

I have over ten year’s worth of experience working outdoors in a Nature led practice.
As the majority of my experience has been gained helping women process various trauma, I am well equip at working with supporting people to process trauma, such as experiences of male violence towards women, sexual assault or childhood abuse.
