Hello...

Hello! my name's Pip. I'm a counsellor at NeuroTribe UK.

I have learnt through my own personal journey with neurodivergence that marginalised identities can be sources of both challenge and strength, and are fundamental to shaping us as the unique individuals we are. As I work with clients to create a deeper understanding of themselves and their troubles, I am committed to meeting all facets of their identity with compassion and respect.

I have a degree in integrative relational counselling, and since graduating have channeled my life-long passion for learning towards deepening and expanding my knowledge of counselling skills, so I can better serve my clients' needs.

Therapy with me...

As an integrative-relational counsellor, I draw on many therapeutic approaches, meaning I can tailor your counselling, finding what works for you and fits with your unique life experience. I am warm, compassionate and perceptive. I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space to explore what’s troubling you, and to attuning to you as an individual.

Therapy sessions are your time and space. I will work collaboratively with you, and welcome your input on what you want to focus on, and what you do and don’t find helpful, so we can ensure your needs are met.

Together we can explore what’s going on for you now, how past experiences might be contributing to your present difficulties, and what you want to change for your future. As we gradually build a deeper understanding of your world, we can identify and work towards what you need to heal and build a more fulfilling relationship with yourself and others.

Experience

I have previously worked in the NHS, supporting a diverse range of people struggling with problems including anxiety, depression, relationship and family problems, identity issues, traumatic experiences in childhood and adulthood, work problems, health issues, pregnancy loss and neurodivergence.

I also have lived experience of late-diagnosed autism.

Areas of Expertise

My areas of particular interest are autism, ADHD, identity, trauma, attachment and relationships.

If you need a specialist, I am able to offer therapy to people who are affected by Neurodivergence
